Gami Chicken - Chadstone Shopping Centre

At Australia’s fashion capital Chadstone Shopping Centre, Shape Shopfitters delivered an aesthetically intricate and eye catching Gami restaurant fitout.  The hero piece in this compact Gami fitout was the custom solid Tasmanian oak timber curved L shapes battens that ran along the side wall and across the ceiling, providing a textural point of difference. Each batten consisting of a unique curved profile, created in house by our expertly talented cabinetmakers. The seamless inbuilt Gami signage and LED lighting created an additional layer of illumination and depth making for a wonderful design outcome.

Vertical fluted oak veneer timber with hints of powdercoated metal accents throughout gave the project a warmth and depth to the restaurant – fitting in perfectly with the ever aesthetically on point Chadstone precinct.  Fluted glass, polished brass aluminium reflective metal surfaces and curved banquettes add to the dimensional quality of the fitout. All signage meticulously executed and incorporated into the design to really pop and promote the venue for the passing shopping customer.

Shape were able to take control of this project locally in house manufacturing all the joinery, architectural metalwork and signage – allowing Shape to deliver a complete and professional fitout on an accelerated timeframe and to Shape high standards.

Whilst the front of house boasts a creative and deep warming façade, the back of house was firmly executed with operational practicality at the forefront. Custom coolroom/freezers, mechanical canopies and mechanical connection, council health requirements and much more, being Shapes hospitality specialty. Backed by our knowledge and experience the fitout was a seamless success.
